Casa Signora is first and foremost a home - and homes work best when people in them are aligned.
This page is here so you can get a sense of who you'd be sharing space with, how the house is lived in, and whether the rhythmn feels right for you.
I'm the homeowner and primary resident of Casa Signora.
I split my time between Salt Lake City, New York City, and travel. When I'm in SLC, I'm present in the house - "cooking" (I order out), "working" (I own a company in NYC so limited work in SLC), "tending to the yard" (I'd love someone who loves this or I'll hire someone), and truly enjoying a peaceful life.
I care about:
A calm, clean home
Clear communication
Shared spaces that feel lived in, not chaotic
Mutual respect and emotional maturity
I'm friendly and open, but not intrusive. I value ease over intensity and consistency over drama. Casa Signora works best when everyone feels comfortable being themselves without having to manage anyone else's energy.
This isn't a landlord-from-a-distance situation - it's a shared home with thoughtful boundaries.
Hansel is a 16-year-old dachshund and the longest-standing resident of Casa Signora.
He is:
Very senior
Very opinionated
Very small
They all spend most of their days sleeping in sun patches, moving slowly between rooms, and reminding everyone it's time to eat. They eat twice a day and enjoy a calm, predictable routine.
They're affectionate in a quiet way and not demanding, but they do best in a low-stimulation environment. Because of their age and temperaments, no additional pets are allowed in the home.
When I'm traveling, housemates help with simple routines like feeding them and (there is a doggy door to let them in the backyard). This is part of the shared household rhythm and helps keep everything running smoothly.
A sweet and senior shih tzu.
Casa Signora is not a house where people hide in their rooms - but it's also not a house where people are expected to socialize constantly.
You'll find;
Quiet mornings
Respectful evenings
Shared meals when they happen naturally
Space to work, rest, and recharge
A home that feels steady and cared for
If you're someone who enjoys order, warmth, and intentional living - this will likely feel comfortable.
You don't need to be best friends with the people you live with - but you do need to feel at ease.
Casa Signora is best for people who:
Communicate directly and kindly
Appreciate shared responsibility
Travel lightly
Value home as a place to land, not perform
If that resonates, we're probably aligned.
Next Steps
If you feel a connection to my house and the way it's lived in, the next step is to complete the Roommate Match Form.
That gives us a starting point to see if Casa Signora might be the right place for you.
A home built on calm, care, and good fit.
