Extended Stays. Thoughtful roommates. A house that breathes.
Welcome to Casa Signora, an owner-occupied home in Rose Park designed for people who want stability without stagnation - a place that feels grounded, quiet, and lived-in, not transactional.
This is not a party house.
This is not a storage unit with beds.
This is a shared home for people who travel, live intentionally, and value ease.
Casa Signora is a renovated, single-level home with a backyard (soon to be garden!), warm wood floors, and shared spaces that are meant to be used, not staged.
Shared spaces include:
A full, modern kitchen for daily cooking
Including a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove top, Airfryer, and toaster
Dining area for meals, work, or conversation
Including seating for two at a bistro table
Living room with natural light and quiet evenings
Including a large tv, electric fire place, work station with large curved monitor, shoe rack, coat rack
Main-floor bathroom (shared) with natural lighting
Coat closet and thoughtful storage
Fenced backyard with spring gardening plans🌱
The houses stays calm.
We clean as we go.
We respect each other's time, space, and sleep.
Casa Signora currently offers two semi-furnished rooms, rented individually on a month-to-month basis.
Semi-furnished includes the bed, bedding, artwork, hangers in your closet; the Northern Quarters includes an iron side-table that can be used as a dresser.
Casa Signora works best for someone who:
Is LGBTQ+ or affirming
Wants a calm, respectful household
Doesn't own much or is happy living lightly
Is comfortable sharing common spaces
Enjoys quiet evenings more than loud nights
Is open to helping with light gardening in the spring
Is open to light assistance with my dachshund while I travel
note: there is a doggy door so typically it's feeding twice a day and watering him
Wants a real home, not just a room
No additional pets, please.
The house already has one very senior dachshund in residence.
I split time between Salt Lake City and travel, and I live at Casa Signora when I'm in town. I value order and warmth equally and I care a lot about how my home feels. I like things clean, calm, and functional.
I'm friendly, not intrusive.
Present, not overbearing.
Clear communication matters to me.
Hansel is a 16-year-old dachshund with strong opinions and short legs. He sleeps a lot, eats twice a day, and enjoys the sun. He does not want friends with other pets - hence, sorry, no additional pets.
He's sassy.
He loves love.
And he prefers not to be picked up because he wriggles away.
